Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec inspires me beacuse his posters have such an active and dramatic feeing. the lithogtaphs are briliant in their whimsy and their artistic freedom. you can see his works at http://www.masterworksfineart.com/inventory/toulouse/ and http://www.artcyclopedia.com/artists/toulouse-lautrec_henri_de.html

those who inspire me 4

This is work from graphic artist Michael Okuda most famously known for creating the set designs on the Star Trek franchise. He has had to be imaginative and create languages and pannels for alien worlds and technology that does not exist yet. I enjoy how clean his set works are and futuristic in design. his works can be seen on Yahoo images and at web.me.com/michaelokuda, www.startrek.com/database_article/michael-okuda

those who influence me 3

These are works from El Paso, TX artist, Connie Dillman. Her work influences me because she uses brilliant colors and very well planed yet orgainic looking images like for instance, "Monsoon Rain, Chama", on the left and "Distant Winefields". both have a beautiful composition and tone bringing forward a calm feeling. You can see her works at: http://www.giacobbefritz.com/works/conniedillman/cdillman.htm

These are photographic works from photographer David Perry. His works captures the beauty of classical cars and women in a true love interest way and it shows that he is pation filled. His works inspire me because I too have a great love of hot-rods and pin-up girls and I would love to do a photo shoot and make a pin-up book. you can see more of his works at http://www.davidperrystudio.com/

Those who inspire me

I chose Starry Night over the Rhone by Van Gogh because of his wonderful use of vivid reflective colors against a night sky. I found this image on www.vangoghgallery.com and i pulled a crisper image of it on yahoo image. It is l impressionistic which i find to be the most organic and active form in art. I have a great love for Impressionism and artist's of that genre like the Ashcan School or the 8.
